This is a full 2 week workshop that takes place at Oak & Stone. The term "tiny house” generally refers to a house that is 400 square feet or less. They are often built on trailers, and can be moved. Based in a rural setting just outside Worcester, students will apprentice under two master carpenters and learn and participate through the construction of building of a tiny house on a trailer. This workshop will teach tiny house design, how to choose a trailer, framing and sheathing, windows and doors and environmentally friendly internal systems. Guest speakers will visit regularly to present on their own tiny house building and living experiences. Participants should leave with a holistic understanding of creating the tiny life.

This workshop is two week course meeting Mon-Fri from 8:30am-5:00pm. Workshop price includes farmhouse style lunches and opportunities to camp on site. View the Central Mass Tiny House Workshop from 2015 for a peak into the experience.
